Open the senior supply chain and trade rooms for Altana across Asia

Prepared forJoshua Steinberg, GTM Partnerships, Altana
Prepared byYuri Bhanage, NO BS Asia
DateSeptember 2026

A twelve-month program to open $1.1M of net-new pipeline for Altana across the priority Asia trade corridor.

Altana has the network and the platform. What it does not yet have in-region is a dedicated engine that convenes the senior supply chain, trade compliance and customs leaders across Asia's biggest manufacturing and export markets and converts them into net-new pipeline. NO BS is that engine, taking Altana into rooms a New-York-led team struggles to enter cold, with the trusted-trade agenda, tariffs, supply-chain resilience, forced-labor and customs modernization, as the door-opener.

The program at a glance

What you get

Target list. Named supply chain, trade and customs leaders at large firms across the priority markets.

The access. Senior, in-person sessions co-led by Altana and NO BS, built around trusted trade and supply-chain resilience.

Meetings. Qualified 1-on-1s, tracked by name and stage in your CRM.

Reporting. A live dashboard of all activity, plus weekly progress meetings.

Why it works

The model. Give before you take: senior access peers can't reach on their own.

Validated. Proven with senior enterprise and technology leaders across the region, see the proof.

Conversion. 70% of participants to 1-on-1s; 40% of those to CRM opportunities.

Scale. ~9,800 senior supply chain, trade and customs leaders across the priority Asia markets.

Why it's low risk

Cost. $10K per month for twelve months, a predictable, defined line item.

Payback. The projected six new logos (~$216k of first-year land ACV) more than cover the $120k first-year fee, and Altana accounts expand well beyond the initial land.

Phased. Priority markets first, expandable across the wider region once proven.

Transparent. Every name, stage and week visible, nothing in a black box.

Recommended next step: a deeper conversation with the NO BS team to shape the program around Altana's priority sectors, target accounts and the trusted-trade push across Asia. Email us at yuri@nobs.asia to set up a meeting.

Altana has the network. The growth is in the rooms where Asia's trade decisions actually get made.

The trusted-trade moment is now: tariffs and transshipment enforcement, forced-labor rules, and supply-chain shocks are forcing every large importer, manufacturer and customs authority to see and prove their value chain. Altana is the platform for exactly that. The net-new growth in Asia, new logos and network expansion, sits with the heads of supply chain, global trade compliance and customs who own that agenda. That is a finite senior population across the priority markets.

Those are exactly the relationships a New-York-led go-to-market team, without deep in-region networks, rarely has time to build from scratch. Net-new at that altitude, half a world away, is the hardest pipeline there is.

Why is this hard to reach?

The senior seats are guarded

Heads of supply chain, global trade and customs each field a full agenda and a wall of vendors. A new conversation, especially with a US platform new to the region, has to be made in person, peer to peer, not pitched cold.

Everyone is chasing them

The same senior population is bombarded daily by logistics providers, consultancies and software vendors with AI-powered emails, InMails, whitepapers, webinars and conference invites. Another cold sequence does not land.

A remote team can't also prospect Asia

Building senior trade and customs relationships across seven Asian markets, week after week, from outside the region, takes dedicated time, energy and local senior networks a lean GTM team rarely has.

The premium, net-new work is decided in rooms that cold outreach struggles to enter. Convening and converting those rooms across Asia is what we do, alongside your GTM team.

Give before you take.

Behind every senior enterprise trade or supply-chain deal that closes in this region is a high-level peer-to-peer relationship. You can't build that relationship by making asks, you need to offer something of value first.

1

Spearfish in a small elite pond, not hit-and-hope

Decision making in APAC is top heavy. A dozen of the right people in an intimate setting beats a thousand badge scans.

2

Reach out like a peer

A real message from a real peer, about something they care about. Not InMail, not AI-slop emails, definitely not cold calls.

3

Offer something they want, not something you want to give

A real conversation on real issues with real peers. Not whitepapers, webinars or demos.

4

Share your point of view

Project credibility through your point of view, told through stories, experience and insight. No slide decks.

5

Earn the 1-on-1, never demand it

You've built credibility, authority and goodwill before your ask. The follow-up is more organic and more to-the-point because they already know and respect your point of view.

The ask doesn't feel heavy. People agree to a follow-up meeting because they appreciate your authentic and credible point of view and want to continue the conversation.

This isn't theoretical. We convene the exact senior rooms, then convert them.

Our playbook is seat-agnostic: convene the senior people you need to reach into a room they actually want to be in, then convert. Here is that motion working across clients, industries and geographies, including with founders and CTOs on a technical product. It is the same motion we would run for Altana with senior supply chain, trade and customs leaders.

Future of creator marketing lunch in Singapore

Who we did it for: Serious Fluence, a creator-marketing company. We co-hosted the lunch with their CEO, Prem, on the future of creator marketing. See the post on LinkedIn ↗

The ICP in the room: senior leaders (director and above) from named target companies. The mechanic, convene the exact seat you need, then convert, is identical whatever the title on the badge.

Why it maps to Altana: same motion, different seat. We put a curated senior group in a room they wanted to be in, on a topic they cared about, then converted. It is the identical play we would run to open Altana's pipeline with heads of supply chain, global trade and customs across the priority Asia markets.

In the room: peers across consumer brands, platforms and agencies.

One lunch, 9 senior leaders in the room, and a funnel that actually moved: 70% into 1-on-1 meetings, 40% of those into CRM opportunities. We've proven this model across clients, industries, geographies and ICPs, and it's exactly how we'd open the priority Asia markets for Altana.

Your buyers: senior supply chain, trade and customs leaders across Asia.

Three groups drive the trusted-trade agenda Altana sells into. Supply chain, operations & procurement leaders (VP and C-suite) own the value chain and the sourcing decisions. Global trade & customs compliance leaders (director and above) run trade compliance, customs and import/export, Altana's core enterprise buyer. Government customs & trade officials are the regulator side of Altana's network. We size the two enterprise groups at firms with 5,000+ employees in trade-intensive sectors, and government by senior customs and foreign-trade titles.

This is the senior market that decides the trade, supply-chain and customs agenda across the priority Asia markets. We don't spray and pray. We work it in sequence, senior first, tier by tier and account by account.

Methodology. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, September 2026. Supply chain, ops & procurement = Operations and Purchasing job functions at VP and C-suite (we deliberately exclude the Director band here, which is inflated in some markets and too junior for the room). Global trade & customs compliance = a title-and-profile keyword search (trade compliance, global trade, customs, export control, import/export) at director level and above, because that function tops out at Director / Head of Customs. Both enterprise groups are filtered to firms with 5,000+ employees across 11 trade-intensive sectors: manufacturing, electronics, textiles, automotive, chemicals, pharma, food & beverage, transportation & logistics, retail, apparel, and wholesale. Government customs & trade officials = the Government Administration sector filtered by senior customs and foreign-trade titles (Commissioner / Chief Commissioner / Director General of Customs, Foreign Trade, Excise), no size floor. Cells shown as a plain number are exact Sales Navigator counts; cells with a "+" are where LinkedIn caps the live display, so read those as floors. The keyword-defined groups are indicative and profile-weighted. China, Japan and Korea are out of scope (thin English-language LinkedIn presence undercounts them). Named, de-duplicated target lists per market and sector are built on kickoff.

Priority markets. Priority 1: Singapore and Malaysia. Priority 2: Indonesia and India. Priority 3: Thailand, Vietnam and Bangladesh. We open Priority 1 first, prove the motion, then roll into Priority 2 and 3, and, once proven, the wider region. India alone is deep enough to run as its own phase.

Where we'd start, and how fast.

The ICP puts a real number on it: roughly 9,800 senior supply chain, trade and customs leaders across the priority Asia markets. Here is the sequence.

How we'd phase it across 12 months

Phase 1 (0-3 months): Singapore & Malaysia (Priority 1).

Phase 2 (3-6 months): Indonesia & India (Priority 2), India deep enough to run as its own track.

Phase 3 (6-12 months): Thailand, Vietnam & Bangladesh (Priority 3), then expand into the wider region as results land.

Within each phase, the motion:

  1. Find the right peopleBuild the named target list from the ICP: the exact supply chain, trade and customs leaders worth a room.
  2. Reach out like a peerReal messages from real people to the few who matter, not a sequence tool running on its own.
  3. Convene the roomSmall, senior, co-hosted sessions on the topics they care about, tariffs and trade resilience, forced-labor and customs modernization, the kind of room they actually want to be in.
  4. Earn the 1-on-1Every room converts into named 1-on-1s, and we sit in every meeting that matters.
  5. Live trackingDashboards on activity, conversion and deal progression in your CRM, so you always see the pipeline.
  6. Weekly updates with usA standing weekly check-in where we walk the numbers together and agree the next moves.
Quick results, run by operators, fully accountable. Every name, number and stage is visible in real time, so you always know what's working. A disciplined, data-driven motion, not a black box.

What the program is worth, in your terms.

NO BS takes full accountability for the top of this funnel. The defaults below reflect what we typically see, but move the sliders to your own numbers to get a real view of what this NO BS x Altana collaboration could produce.

Senior supply chain, trade & customs leaders reached96
1-on-1 discovery meetings77
Sales opportunities (in CRM)31
Net-new engagements closed6
$1.1M
Total sales pipeline
$216k
Signed annual contract value
Signed contracts typically run three years. On the default numbers, the six projected new logos represent about $648k in total contract value (6 × $36k × 3 years), roughly 5.4× the $120k first-year program fee, and that is before any account expansion, which is where Altana deals really grow.

Default sliders reflect our working estimate over 12 months: 12 rooms × 8 senior supply chain, trade & customs leaders is about 96 reached, 80% to a real 1-on-1 (77), 40% of those to a sales opportunity (31), about a 20% win rate on close (6). At a $36,000 average ACV that is $1.1M in pipeline and $216k of signed annual contract value, or about $648k in total contract value across a typical three-year term, roughly 5.4× the $120k in first-year fees. The $36,000 is initial land value only, Altana accounts expand well beyond it, so the real return is understated here; move the sliders to your own numbers.

Operators, not consultants.

Most firms sell you a plan. We are the team that executes it, in the room, from month one.

More on NO BS ↗

Yuri Bhanage, CEO

NO BS works with sales leaders and founders to execute sales motions that actually convert in Asia. We don't advise from the sidelines or theorise about markets, we work in them, running outbound, establishing high-level relationships, building pipeline and closing deals.

Led by CEO Yuri Bhanage, who brings 15+ years of hands-on sales experience in Asia, across SE Asia, China, India and the US, from Fortune 500 to seed-stage startups. Selling to enterprise clients like AIA, Accenture, EY, KPMG, Braze, Almosafer, American Express and New Relic. Connect on LinkedIn ↗

Before sales, Yuri trained and worked as an engineer in supply chain and manufacturing, including roles at Eastman (global chemical manufacturing) and Larsen & Toubro (engineering and heavy manufacturing). He has since spent 15 years building enterprise pipeline across exactly Altana's target geography, Southeast Asia and India, selling complex platforms into large, multi-stakeholder organizations. So the manufacturing, trade and supply-chain world Altana sells into is not a script we learned for the pitch, it is where he started his career.
